Some photos from day 2. Stanley, Idaho, to Missoula, Montana.

We woke to 42 degrees and clear skies.  Our plan for the day was to ride the Salmon River Scenic Byway and end the day in Missoula, Montana.

It was 58 degrees by the time we finished breakfast and left Stanley  Our morning ride was a twisty romp along the canyons bordering the Salmon River.  The scenery was incredible.

We stopped for lunch in Salmon, Idaho.  It was the first chocolate milk shake in a while.  Very nice.

The afternoon saw temperatures rise to the mid-nineties.  We rode over a 7500 foot pass, which meant the temperature lowered to only 93.

By the time we reached Missoula it was 99 degrees and we were quite ready to end the day.  Our day included a 57 degree change in temperature.  It's kind of hard to dress for that.

It was Bo's turn to pay for dinner.  Jim got stuck with a very expensive meal a few years ago in Nova Scotia.  His goal was to make sure that Bo shared in that experience.  He was successful.  Very successful.

Breakfast in Stanley.  No pigs are safe in our presence.

Jim prepares for a day of riding.

Bill is just happy to be here.
