Day 5: no moose, no goats, good ride.

In addition to our daily dose of twisty roads and national forests, Day 5 included a nice ride along Lake Roosevelt, a fifty mile run along the Columbia River and a very interesting look at the incredible wheat fields of northeastern Washington.  We are now is Spokane and not sure where the weather will let us ride on Day 6.

Not sure what is in the coffee cup.  It needs some prosciutto or maybe lardon.

The motel room clerk recommended the Hoot Owl for breakfast. They had a kitchen fire recently and are using an outdoor kitchen loaned by the local Shriners. Neighbors helping neighbors.

We arrived in the Evergreen State mid morning.

Lake Roosevelt.

More Lake Roosevelt.

Now where is the bad weather?

We may be weathered in today.  Looks like it might be a good time to catch up with our email, check out Spokane and see what's going on with Days of Our Lives.
